Granta's Heritage Volunteers help preserve the nation's heritage in local museums, churches or institutes.

Previous projects have included work at the Cambridge Folk Museum and Churchill College Archive Centre, and more recently the cataloguing of photographs and archives at the University's Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. This has now been completed.

Current projects:

Parker Library, Corpus Christi College

We have volunteers working in the Parker library at Corpus Christi, recording, inspecting and conserving old and rare books.

South Asian Studies Library University of Cambridge
Photographic Archive Project
The library has several thousand photographs of historical significance. Granta volunteers are currently engaged in digitising these images and placing them online, to be accessible to scholars worldwide.
Training is given and full support is available by archive staff. Volunteers can work individually or in pairs as they prefer, within the pleasant working environment in the new Alison Richard Humanities Building in West Road, Cambridge.

Parking is available.
