What do we do?
We have a great programme of nine lectures a year. These are held on Tuesday mornings at 10.45am (coffee available from 10am) in the Wolfson Hall at Churchill College Cambridge.
We arrange Visits to places of interest, most of which are within the city of Cambridge.
We continue to support our group of Church Recorders, who record and photograph the interiors of churches and their contents, and Heritage Volunteers who help to record and file archival material for museums and other collections.
We arrange an annual residential tour lasting between four and six days, alternating between the United Kingdom and overseas. Our most recent visit was in May 2026, when we went to Scotland to explore the art and history of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Charles Rennie Mackintosh. In April 2027 we are going to Bucharest and Transylvania. https://theartssocietygranta.org.uk/Tours/FutureTours.aspx You can read about our earlier tours on this page.
You will find information about - and links to - arts-related events which may interest you on our Links page.
We are an affiliated group within The Arts Society, which has over 300 societies and 64,000 members in the UK and beyond. We are a registered charity. Click here for our Constitution and Rules.
